The center is located in a busy area on a charming nine acre spot down the east-bank of the popular Hillsborough River. The center has a total of 335,000 square foot space and it provides the world with many different choices of the finest events.It is home to one of the greatest and most well known Broadway series and it is appreciated by all for fabricating grand opera shows, as well as offering the world a number of different entertainment acts like events, concerts and performances. Instructional ClassesIncluding the Patel Conservatory, the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center added another 45,000 square feet to its grounds in order to uphold its wide selection of education programs.From the year of 2005 until 2006, the center served over 70, 000 learners with just over 2000 on site education activities, which included many classes. The conservatory is home to twenty studios, some of which are two dance studios featuring sprung floors, a lighting and sound lab, rehearsal hall, black box theater, costume shop, technical theater workshop, media arts and television studio and sound and isolation booth. Discounted TicketsThe tickets to the shows of the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center range from very affordable to somewhat pricey. This of course, depends on the popularity of the show and the location of the seats.However, there are many ways in which you can obtain discounted tickets. A few ways are; AAA Members - The members of AAA are allowed a 15% discount for four tickets to certain shows but will have to show their AAA cards upon arrival. Educators Discount – school staff and teacher can get up to 60% discount on certain shows. School ID tag will have to be presented. Military, Senior, Student Discounts – learners eighteen years or younger, adults 65 years and older, college students with ID cards and military members with valid ID cards can get up to half price discount to selected shows. Group Discounts – bring along as many people as you can! Groups of 12 to 20 people will receive great discounts on certain performances. There are many more discounted offers, but these are just a few that are used.
